Hello Out There;
Just checking in to see if everyone is awake? Can't wait until the 05 Reunion. That was my old stopping grounds until my retirement in 89. By the way, for those of you who don't know me, I was in from 61-89 and served as one of the elite 7051. Like to hear from you all. If you need some info on the area before the reunion, don't hesitate to ask. We are all family. Remember the USMC motto, "Once a Marine, Always a Marine." Well, it goes without saying, "Once a CFR, Always a CFR!" ......

Old Farts are still alive...Top..its your favorite WM checking in...I retired a Gunny in 2003 at Miramar. I had a great time but 21 years was long enough. Hope your staying out of trouble. Oh and I think us younguns could still take you in a game of spades. Hope this finds its way. V.

Good Morning Jim Tierney and All No I haven't heard from Bill Welden. There are a lot of old "farts" out there I'd like to hear from. You would be surprised of how many old CFR's don't know about this web site. Excellent site for keeping up to snuff on old stuff and reminiscing. Does anyone remember those old business cards we had made up? Front side went something like this: "You crash-um, we splash-um." Back side something like this: "Services brought to you by your friendly Crash Fire Rescue." or something like that. If you remember, just about all the pilots wanted them when we were called on. Oh. those good old days!!!! Semper Fi

Joe,
I was talking to Eddie Q. Hicks today and we talked about John Donnelly. I remember him as a WO in crash crew but Eddie Q. could give you more info on him. Eddie's e-mail address is "hicksqman@aol.com". It's good seeing your e-mails and I sure wish I was able to make the last reunion. Were there many Chu Lai Marines there??? Al
