I'm thinking that us not quite kids need to develope a page some where on the old trucks. The low pressure style of fire fighting we did is gone. I remember talking with Air Force Crash Crewmen and they could not believe we got so close to the fires to fight them. As I remember the revetment fires that was the only way to have done it. Seems to me we didn't think much about going after fire with the 30 pound PKP extingquishers. also how many of you remember the TAU units we had on the amphib Tracked units. M-116 wasn't it? Had the Chevy V-8s in them. I believe there is one in the pictures I submitted to our site. We also had either 2 or 4 5ton 6X6's with TAU units on them as well. They got stuck in the sand going to the C-123 crash.
