Has anyone seen or heard of an MB-5 for sale or viewing? I have surfed several sites and have only seen one. It was a Oshkosh MB-5 which replaced the older models. If you have seen one or heard of one give me a bump. Thanks, George

YES- in a junk yard in Ephrata, WA (which is on the dry side of the state, NW of Moses Lake). I just about jacked knife my RV when I passed the place. Turn around and went back. Talked to the guy who owned the yard, don't recall the specific nameof the yard, but there was only one in town. Anyway the wheel hubs were leaking. The owner said that it ran. If it is still there, could be picked up cheap I would bet. This was an Oshkosh MB-5. This was in AUG 2008. Attachments:

Mike
You are correct. I was there from 1973-75. Left Iwakuni in '75, ended up in Detroit as a Recruiter/Recruiter NCOIC, completed my tour there in 78, went to El Toro. Was hospitalized in 79, medically retired in 80. picked up a couple of college degrees, went to work for the US Army, Ft Lewis, WA in 85, retired in 2008 (Program Manager, Environmental Services). Now semi retired, working with Disabled/Wounded Vets at the Wound Warrior Transition Battalion (Task Force Phoenix), at Ft. Lewis, WA. I normally check in here every couple of months and see what is happening.
