I received this e-mail Thanksgiving morning...
Penny, I'm so sorry about Larry. I know he has been ill the past several months, but I guess no one knew how bad off he really was. I didn't serve with him, but got to know him here on this website and at the AFFR Reunion in 2007. Larry was a fun guy to hang out with, and I'll miss having him here.
I forwarded your e-mail to the AFFR Board of Directors.
God Bless you and your family.

This is such sad news to receive. I'm just shocked to hear about Larry. He worked for me in Nam and then at Quantico. He was a very nice guy and it was a pleasure to have worked with him.

So very sad to hear of the passing of Larry. We served in Nam together. May the LORD give HIS PEACE and COMFORT to his wife and family and may he rest in ETERNAL PEACE.
