A few days ago I notified Bill Young that I was going to the reunion at Quantico in Oct 2005. Hope to see a lot of old friends there.

I don't know if any of you remember me, the old guy from way back when, but I just wanted to let you know that Mae and I are planning to attend the 05 reunion. That was my last duty station before retirement, or may I say semi-retirement? With our retirement pay, who can really retire anymore. Hope to see alot of old faaces there! If anyone needs information on Quantico or the surrounding areas, let me know.

Well its getting closer. The Reunion I mean. Looks like a
few people will be going. It will be good to see Quantico
again. When I left Q we had NO fire barn, (Burnt Down)
They have one now. See everyone there.

Yes , we did move into the hanger and then we moved into the new building where the old one was.

THAT OLD CRASH BARN CAUGHT ON FIRE 2 TIMES. THE FIRST TIME CRASH CREW PUT IT OUT AND CAUGHT HELL FOR DOING IT. THE SECOND TIME I GUESS THEY CALLED THE FIRE DEPT. " THEY SAID WE WERN'T STRUCTUAL FIRE FIGHTERS" IF YOU CAN IMAGE THAT. THAT PLACE WAS FULL OF BAD WIREING. SEMPER FI JOE DONNELLY

That was a scary night, I thought the Fire Dept. was never going to get there. The hanger wasn't that bad.
Gunny Mora wasn't to happy. Does anyone know the name of our OIC ? She was a Capt.
