Lets hear your comment. IS IT TORTURE OR NOT. I had to ask, was watching the hearings on C-Span, the new AG won't commit either way. Was asked if it was done to him would it be.................done to me yes, won't say if it is or not for anyone else

Sure it is. So is sleep deprivation and many other forms of persuasion that don't leave telltale marks.
If it can be used to gain information that will save the life of one American, I'm all for it.
Some Marines I know said we're at war. I believe them.

Terry & Stretch, YEP, IT WAS ONE OF THE WAYS TO GET INFORMATION! Remember, how much time & effort has been spent by our 'Congress'on this? What were they trying to do? But down in the 'Army military Prision' in 'Gitmo ',they worry about the status of those'Terrorists"? Ask our POW's what was done to them? Our Elected officals want to be 'Do Gooders'? OK!-Rich

Guys-With all the 'Noise' from our Senate & House'where some are putting theAttorney General( AG's) feet to the fire about is "WATER BOARDING' legal-in the CIA's book on Torture? When needed yes;when done outside of the US? I;m sorry but I think Congress has a few other things to worry about? It is time for our people to recognize that we are right smack in the middle of an 'Un-Declared War'-The Global War on Terror? Semper Fi- The Crazy Old Man-RichW/43

Dale, Don't misunderstand me, I don't care for Hillary either, but do want a man who wants to continue a war for 100 years or should we pull out and let Viet Nam, I mean Iraq continue on with their life. Only difference I see is we haven't lost enough American lives. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. WHAT A TURD...

Mikeyb,Terry,Swanny & Stretch- Guys,We all have our views on how to take care of a 'Terrorist'? It becomes what are our beliefs & backgrounds are? Plus don't forget your experiences & those dealing w/an 'Enemy'? It goes from 'Nuke 'em to we can change 'em? These 'Bad Guys' Don't want to change, or be our friend & all they want is to kill as many of us as they can? Maybe, It is time for us to lock & load-hey, anyone have an M-1,Girand Rifle w/30 cal. ammo? That's the weapon I was used too? Since, there may be a problem w/the 'Home Area Defense', maybe all us old 'Vets' would have to join into a 'Volunteer Militia' to be an adjunct to the 'National Guard'? Take certain duties away from them?-SEMPER FIDELIS-RichW/49

If I or a family member is captured by the enemy, waterboarding will be the least of our problems.

Terry, Hey-Guy, I guess someone there in the 'Congress' asked the 'Witness'-"When was the Last Time a 'WATER-BOARDING'session was done? The answer came back-"Five (5) years ago"? There have been times when it was felt it had to be used to obtain information;you couldn't get any other way?? Stretch- He gives you that smooth answer? Don't worry about it;caused it is not going to happen?-Rich

I usually try to post light-hearted stuff, but this little comment pi$$ed me off... Stretch, You sound like a candidate for President, you avoid the question and beat around the bush. Terry Pfft. Tell it to a politician. I work for a living. You asked for my comment, so I gave it to you. Don't even think of belittling me because you don't like my answer. If I were captured by the enemy, I would most likely be killed. Waterboarding and other non-scarring forms of interrogation are a bit too warm and fuzzy for Muslim extremist types, so therefore it would be the least of my worries. Do you get it now, or did I beat around the bush too much?
