Well, I am sort of split. I don't think the GREATEST NATION in the world should cut and run. We done that twice already. But from I read in the papers is that our boys are getting blown up, Not enough armor plus our Boys have to play by some kind of rules of engagement. Which, by the way, The Iraq people don't. Like you Joe , My Nephew is now over there for the 2nd time. So, I guess I'm in the middle............LarryK

Just wanted to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and the best of the New Year! Also, one of these days I will get me application in to join the ranks of all you old timers, guess I can call you that, although there is another term for it. Like most of you, from 61-89 I had several MOS's. And speaking of current events, let me put my two cents in; cut and run, I don't think so. If you old timers remember we did that in Vietnam, and now they tell us we lost that conflict, just tell that to all the names on that granite wall here in Washington. It's kind of hard to swallow. Also, I believe all those in the Capital should keep their thoughts and recommendations to their self, hell they are as guilty as our Commander in Chief, they voted to send our troops over there in the beginning because most Americans wanted go over there and kick a_ _ and take names, but now elections are coming up so they go with the flow just to get that vote, so what is their problem. Besides, you hear those troops who made it back, weather injured or not, they all want to go back and finish the job. Speaking from experience I know how the troops feel when their leaders and folks back home are caring on like a bunch of little kids and not asking us who are doing the job and being killed what we think. Sorry to carry on like this, but being so close to all this working around the Commander in Chief, it really gets under my skin. Sorry. Anyway, may you and your families have a safe and wonderful holiday and lets all throw in a pray or two for our troops away from families during these holidays.
Semper Fi

Ron you are right. I just think we should make the Wacky Iraqy take most of the burden away from our people. Make them do the dirty work. Merry Christmas to you and your family also. Stay safe and Semper Fi. Joe Donnelly

Same here with the family History. My brothers were in the Marines also but never had to go to war. I told them they didn't miss anything. I'm from Baltimore, Md. I retired from the Marines in 87 and we came back to Beaufort in 89. Been here ever since.I have a good friend who lives in Burlington, N.J. His name is Phil Sozio and he was in Crash Crew also.
