My name is Brendan Abell. Served from 99-03. Did my entire tour at MCAS Yuma (MWSS 371) and deployed whenever they needed someone to go somewhere.
Did 7 months in Iraq in 03 and now work at NAS Patuxent River FD (crash crew)
Having been born in 81, I'm sure I'm the youngest to join, but no worries. Is the reunion going to be in Quantico this year?

Hey JoeD, Looks like I dodged another one here in FLA. Wilma went far enough south to give us some winds of 45 mph and 2.5 inches of rain. Hope me luck keeps up. SEMPER FI........................................LarryK

Larry: Just checking in. I was in Chu Lai March 67 to April 68. MAG 13. I do remember a lot of the guys from then. I was there when MAG 12 came over and was kind of absorbed into 13. 12 had the A4's and were flying off the beach before they came over to 13. When I first got there, we had no field lights and it was part of our job to fill the smudge pots and keep them lit through the night. I remember some rainy nights when that was tough duty. I am sure there are others who remember the smudge pots. Rick Zenk

Time to check in again.........This time we would like an answer to this question.
Should the President of the United States pull all our troops out of Iraq immediately ?
Give us your thoughts on it. Tell us what you think.

I believe we should pull out. Not all at once thought because it would be a victory for the not a very nice persons over there and probley hurt our people. We should really start to turn it over to them and make them responsible for there own country. Make them do the dirty work for awhile. No matter what they say they are protecting the not a very nice persons that are causing the problems and they can live with it. Semper Fi Joe D.

Not pull out Joe ,Just step to the sidelines. Col. Murtha has a plan, There are no further military objectives to be met. Lets step to the sidelines and see how they do on there own, if assistance is is needed we will be in position to act quickly and decisively. My goal is no more dead Americans. SEMPER FI. Craig

My goal also Craig. My grandson is over there on his second tour as are many others. He is pretty discoraged right now and I don't blame him. He is a crew chief on a Hum-V and was wounded the first time over. He has told me his unit has lost more men this time. Almost double the losses. Someone better have a plan or it's just going to go on and on. Semper Fi Joe Donnelly
