Hi guys, as newly elected sectry,I find it interesting as I travel along, as to the new scenery I'm taking in. I'm slow at some parts of this trail, picking up momentum as I go. Sympathy cards on behalf of the Assoc. have gone out. I have a three word phrase i like to use. " Unite and Invite " SEMPER FI Leeski

Welcome Lee, good to see you on the boards. Well, I went to the VA hospital in Charlston, S.C. to be screened for Agent Orange and came away clean in all respects. The VA hospital treated me very well . The only thing when I got the old finger wave i told the Doctor if he wanted to check my tonsils I would have opened my mouth. DAMM he had a long finger " I HOPE " HAHAHAHAHA Semper Fi all my brothers and sisters and have a great holiday season. JoeD.
P.S. Thank you Larry and all the other people who made me go to the VA to get checked out.

Howdy,Lee-Welcome from a Newcomer! JoeyD,Stretch,Swammy & old LarryK, I'm Back- Short trip to St. Thomas,USVI- on 12/5 ,I had a 'fall'going up a hill toward the 'ridge line'? I landed on my right side & my face & nose are all busted up like I was in an 'Active Prize Fight'? You know Cuts,Abrasions & Swelling-a couple of black eyes, like a 'Raccoon'? After a CAT scan & numerous X-rays nothing broken just dented! I left the island on 12/6-ten days earlier than planned. This 'Crazy Old Man' was out for a good bit-lousy dive;but good style points. Glad to be back & will be able to comment back in this forum again? My best to all AFFR members-more of you sign in here?-RichW/43

My response to Re: I'm slowly climbing the ridge. Reply # 4 on 12/9-I need to make a correction & apology to "Swanny" not swammy? Sometimes the square pegs will not fit the round holes,no matter how hard one tries? JoeD47 -glad you checked out fine-Semper Fi-RichW/43

Rich, Sorry to learn of your short vacation to the islands, probably you would'nt care to try snow skiing here in Maine either.Really I have found that re-bounding from a fall is much slower after fifty! SEMPER FI Leeski

Guys-Yes,I've got to understand that I am no longer that 'teenager'who joined the 'Marines' & slow down a little? But being a bit nutty, one goes charging off at times? Yes-all of you have given me very good advice, which I need to follow! All of you take care,also.-RichW/43
