Henry,
I just found this organization recently. I remember that lucky shot from Charlie, on 23 March 1968. VMA 211 and 311 took it full force. I rotated home 3 days later. Yes, how could we forget that day. I was with MAG12 and we were eating breakfast at the time. In fact, we were one hour away from being relieved by MAG13. Luckily, we had both crews there on site, or we would have been in a world of 'S---".

Hi Terry True
The name sounds familiar. I believe we were in the same hut. Do you remember a Patton and Cook or Lemon or Hunsinger?

Hi Charlie, I sure do remember them. Haven't talked to them. I have talked to Lee Hubbard and Jerry Warbeck. I do know that Jim Cook was killed in a car wreck when he was on leave in '68 i think.
Nice to see you found this site
