Yes he is Eric. He is stationed at Camp Lejune and is an instructor at Grunt school. He shouldn't have to go back anymore. How's everything with you. Everything here is fine and happy Fathers day Bro. Semper Fi Joe D.

Doing fine, thanks.
I just finished repainting my truck. She's nice and purty now, two-toned with silver and charcoal Imron polyurethane. Sucker's too big to wax all the time...
I'll be heading up to NC this weekend for Lovely Wife's family reunion, then a week at Atlantic Beach. While I'm there, Bill, Phil, Ed, and I are getting together for the annual AFFR Board of Director's meeting. Nothing much to it really, but annual meetings are required for non-profit organizations like ours...
But otherwise, I'm going to catch some rays, rent a boat, sample some cold beers, and eat a load of seafood!
Oh by the way, today is the 21st anniversary of my joining the Marines.
Take care!

Hi Larry,
I was at El Toro, MWSS 472 (formerly MABS 46), from 1984 to 1991. I made it to Crew Chief as a Sargent before I left during the Clinton era of down-sizing. I got to enjoy the M-530C, the MB-5, and the P-4 before the P-19 came out. MAG 46 was still flying A-4's, F-4's, and A-6's when I got there so I got to see the transition to the FA-18. Most of the reserve guys were firefighters and paramedics in the civilian world so we had a lot more training than the station crew.
