Left Coast checking in~We need a career marine for a sponsor for the 2012 Miramar reunion as Dick Tackas is loaded down with the "Wounded Warriors"~You can do all the applications by Post and E-mails so you won't need to make the trips to Miramar~I'm willing to do the leg work~So any volunteers are welcome!~Rich Watkin will be helping again and hopefully he will be able to attend this time!~Rich said he will be at Quantico so any questions about 2012 he should be able to answer~We're shooting for late Sept or early Oct~It all depends on the Air Shows schedule~Please pray for my sister-in-law Kath as she is fighting breast cancer~I hope everyone had a great summer~Semper Fi!........Dale

Stretch-Do you know if Joe Donlelly will be at Quantico? I'm not sure. When members send RSVP and reunion checks to me, I immediately send the names to Bill for him to roll into the total head count. Joe's not on my list, but he could have sent his stuff to Bill and I wouldn't know it. No problem.

Not a rock-solid number (I don't know how many Bill has on his list), but perhaps 85-90 including spouses and guests.

All-Check back in ? Some are just looking at the Various writings? In my last "Rant' where I said only those who served in the West & Overseas should consider planning for the next 'West Coast reunion'!! I'm just an 'Old 6461/6463',that Bill Cane trained in the late 40th's & %0's,& it is very interesting to see all the changes? Brother's any ideas where 'Crash Fire Fighting'is headed? It sure has come a long way from a Shovel,Bucket of sand a little water & a CO2 bottle? My best & Semper Fi -Rich Watkin / Jarhead32

Hi, Rich. I hope you're doing well. Not every 'Guest' on a website is human. When you use Google and other search engines, those search engines send out feelers called 'Bots', which search the Interwebz for the key words in your search. However, many of our Guests here are human. For that reason, I have included my e-mail address in the signature at the bottom of every one of my posts. Since I have a lot of posts here (I have no life), most of which relating to AFFR Association, savvy Guests do indeed drop me an email if they have questions. As for eligibility... a mailing address is a plus. A pulse makes things easier, but our ONE REQUIREMENT is that you have once held the US Marine Corps MOS of Air Rescue Firefighter or its predecessors.
