RichW/49-Woodstock,GA- ;D 8-)Checking In-Got back from the 'Left Coast' on Monday-met with Swanny & Dick Tracas, our Base Sponser for the WC 2010 AFFR Reunion at MCAS, Miramar,CA , meeting location in San Clemente. A lot of good suggestions came out of this meeting! General Information needs to be available for distribution at the Quantico Reunion;so as members can do their advanced planning? Boy,since I've been gone-Some 'Bomb Shells' listed here by Guests & Respondant Members? Hey,what comes after a 'Trillion',anyway. See the latest figures for troops needed for Afganistan? It's time to take up those who haven't goneto get trained & go? Time to train all to be a 'Rifleman'-where have I heard that before ? USMC-Surprise,What?? Looking forward to our Quantico Reunion -looking for info. & where to sending in 'Attending & where to send the money'? Did anyone watch " The 100 Days" TV show=Great Questions?? I understand that 'Fox News' has been sent to the Wood Shed' The best one is 300K+ per AF 1 or 2 flight-do they get FF miles for travelling? Enough said?? The Crazy Old Man- Semper Fi=RichW/49

Ok gentleman I sit and read all this information put out and wonder were everyone was when the previous administration took flights to Texas every 2 to 3 months? I worked for Uncle Sam for 29 years and the most vaction time I earned was 30 days a year? My understanding was President Bush took more vacation time then any other President in the past?We need to let it go, if this President wants to go to town meetings or anywhere else it is ok by me? Seems like its getting better and even the american people know you can't fix 8 years of f&@kups in 100 days. I am an American and believe in my President? I trusted Bush and it didn't work, now I will give President Obama a chance. In the military we supported our Commander and Chief what has changed? I still believe that this is the greatest country in the world! Again this is my opinion so Semper Fi to all. Mikeyb

Mikeyb, Stretch,Terry & all others I have offended? At times I stur the pot, I don't always Mean it?? ;D I too am a Loyal American & love this Nation. You are right you can't fix the last years actions over night? I too worked for the Commander in Chief,Secretary of Defense,& Individual services for a bunch of years? USMC- 8 yrs., Regular & Temp. Medical Disability, Contractor- RCA- 25 yrs.- Military Systems, Civilian-Industrial Spec,U.S.Govt./DOD/DLA/DCMC- 15 yrs., Retired: 02/28/97 & went back to a Temporary Basis , for special effort on 2000. Again, fully retired in 12/00. :DMike I don't like what happened when we started to loose Military Might- 600 Ship Navy vs. 300 Ships that were the last benchmark. I can support our COC/SecDef & others! Obama can fly anywhere he wants too; but that stunt with flying one of the Fleet 747's-VC-? over New York City, deserves a 1st prize ------ I do throw rants out at times? Also,Stretch, zings me on being able to travel so much!! OK,guy -I am going to slow down for a bit! :'(Terry, you know for the most part I'm like Swanny. I really like to hear from Joe D & Larry K. Take care ,guys-Semper Fidelis-The Crazy Old Man-RichW/49

Also,Stretch, zings me on being able to travel so much!! OK,guy -I am going to slow down for a bit! I'm insanely jealous that you're able to travel that much. Work is cramping my style. I hope to run the wheel bearings off my bike when I retire in 13 more years.
